Frequently Asked Questions

Tickets for the Washington Flyer Coach may be purchased at Washington Dulles International Airport from the ticket podium located inside the vestibule at Arrivals Level Door 4. Tickets may also be purchased at the West Falls Church Metro Station using a credit card only. Passengers wishing to pay with cash must purchase their tickets upon arrival at the Airport. A Curbside Service Representative will be at both locations to assist you.

Current fare is $10.00 one-way, and $18.00 round-trip. You can pay for your ticket using cash, traveler's checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card.

HOW LONG DOES THE TRIP TAKE?

One-way trips between the West Falls Church Metro Station and Washington Dulles Airport take approximately 20-30 minutes; however, traffic and weather conditions may affect travel time. As with any travel, please allow sufficient time for unexpected situations.

WHERE DO I CATCH THE BUS?

Our coaches depart the Airport from Arrivals Level Door 4 of the Main Terminal Building, and from the West Falls Church Metro station on the side of the station used by the Fairfax Connector/Reston buses. Follow the signs marked "Dulles Airport Shuttle". Our stop is the very first shelter on the left hand side after exiting the station building. There is a Washington Flyer Curbside Service Representative at both locations at all times to assist you.

HOW CAN I GET TO THE BALTIMORE AREA FROM WASHINGTON DULLES?

While Washington Flyer Coach Service does not offer service directly to the Baltimore area, travelers have several options for connections between Baltimore and Washington Dulles International Airport.

HOW CAN I GET TO RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT FROM WASHINGTON DULLES?

While Washington Flyer Coach Service does not offer service directly from Washington Dulles to Ronald Reagan Washington National, travelers have several options for connections between the two airports:

Washington Flyer Coach Service to Metrorail, then connections to the Blue Line stop located right at the airport
SuperShuttle shared ride van service
Washington Flyer Taxi service


HOW CAN WASHINGTON FLYER COACH HELP ME GET TO WASHINGTON, DC AND ATTRACTIONS FROM WASHINGTON DULLES?

While Washington Flyer Coach Service does not offer service directly from Washington Dulles to downtown Washington, our service does connect to the extensive Metrorail system, which allows travelers to reach many important and popular destinations such as Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Union Station, the National Zoo, the Smithsonian Institution, Bethesda Naval Hospital and the National Institutes of Health, and many area colleges and universities.
